KANSALA FC LEFT FOR NORWAY ACADEMY FITNESS TOURNAMENT




One of the young registered Academy in the Bakau Nawettan Kansala FC have left for Norway to take part in the 40th edition of Norway academy football tournament for academy teams across the world. The tournament is expected to kick start this week were the Gambia only team in the tournament Kansala FC will play their first game on 30th July 2012.


A total of 17 member delegation form the team including three officials left Banjul International Airport on a transit flight via SN Brussel Airline to Belgium, Sweden and final to Oslo, Norway through train transport to reach the final destination to compete in the two week long fitness tournament for academy teams in the world.

The competition is meant for young academy football teams were good players will have the opportunity to be scout by team agent from Europe, America, Asia and Africa. The most talk of players in the world today were recommended to their teams from this tournament such as Missi, C. Ronaldo, Kaka and the host of other players currently playing careers with the top football clubs in the globe.  The tournament will play in a form of preliminary ways before the competition proper; any team that will their preliminary game shall be invited to the event on annual basis.

When contacted the president of Kansala Football Academy Basiru Dibbasey to shed light on the trip, he confirmed to this paper the departure of his academy to take part in the 40th edition of the Norway annual fitness tournament for academy clubs in the world.  He commended their invitee in Norway for giving them the opportunity and every one in the Kachikally community for their valuable contribution for the team to be able leave for the competition. And he also states that the team is expected to return home on the 12th August 2012.
