Former GFA president bags FIFA award

In recognition of his longstanding services to football nationally and internationally, football’s world governing body, FIFA, on Friday awarded former GFA boss, Seedy MB Kinteh, a prestigious pennet award.  Accompanied with a letter of appreciation signed by its secretary general, Jerome Valke, FIFA congratulated the former GFA prezy for the untiring job he accorded to one of the standing committees of FIFA.

Mr. Kinteh was also thanked for the selfless sacrifice he engendered to the progress of the FIFA Development Committee that made the third largest structure in the FIFA family a resounding progress. The letter further stated that people like Kinteh made the standing committee worthwhile.

Reacting to the award, Seedy first thanked the entire football fraternity for their support singling out President Jammeh. It would be recalled that Seedy MB Kinteh was appointed into the FIFA Development Committee in 2011 by Joseph Seep Blatter.
