there was no Champions League hangover as they made light work of struggling
Young Africans in a 2-0 win at the KG5 Mini-Stadium.

Young Africans side still coming to terms with the resignition of their German
coach Mike Toztke, taking the lead after only 13 minutescourtesy of an Abdoulie
Sanneh goal. Mulai
Kietascored the second goal in the 78th minute.
Gamtel secure bragging
rights in Banjul

Banjul derby played at the Serekunda East Mini-Stadium. Following a barren first
half, Tapha Manneh’s charges, who secured their passage to the first round of
the CAF Confederation’s Cup last week, opened the scoring in the 54th minute
through Modou Sarr.
After Lamin Chatty failed to level things for Gamtel
in the 56th minute, set-piece specialist Hamang Conteh converted a 68th minute
penalty after Hawks’ Lamin Fatajo was penalised for handling Dodou Suso’s cross
in the area.

Duta, as he is fondly called, scored with a
thunderbolt just past the half-hour mark. Brikama went into the break with the
slender lead. Sambou scored the second goal in the 55th minute after he was
released by right-back Foday Saidy before he was substituted to a standing
ovation by the Brikama supporters. Bully Drammeh completed the rout on the hour
mark through another assist from Foday Saidy.
