Two league draws at S/K East

Academy boys Samger were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw by the rejuvenated side Young Africans FC in a league-one game played at the Serekunda East Mini-Stadium on Saturday. 

While the giant killers Steve Biko also entertained the newly promoted Interior FC with a goalless draw, both games played at the Serekunda East mini stadium in the week-six fixtures of the 2013 GFA championship.

Samger’s head coach Jane Joof blasted his players for not playing up to expectations against the capital-based outfit in the game

He also said they would go back to the training ground to build on their mental strength in front of goal.

 

Equally disappointed was the head coach of Young Africans, German Mike Tostke, who said his side could not secure all three points from the game despite coming from behind to rescue a draw.

If the few other chances that were created in the game were converted to goals the result could have been different at the end.
