HANDBALL LAST MATCH IS SET FOR TUESDAY 17TH JULY

The last match of the ongoing 2nd edition of the Handball tournament is set for Tuesday 17th July 2012 between The Gambia Armed Forces and the West Coast Region outfit Samassa handball club of Brikama.

According to sources emanating from the Secretary General of the Gambia Handball Association (GHA) Haruna Cham in an interview on Monday at the handball court at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.


When asked to set on the nature of this year’s handball tournament, Mr. Cham said “this year’s tournament is a very successful one from the beginning to the stage we are now. I only hope that everything continues as the way it start, because we the current executive want to make more changes in the handball, in other make to game a famous as any other sporting game in the county”. Mr Cham stated.

He urged the participating team managers and players to maintain the maximum sense of discipline in the tournament to be a very successful one. Cham also called on the media to continue on their giant supports of promoting the handball game, and challenge the companies to always come forward with sponsors during their final coming.
