The first half ended goalless
which future squandering of goal chances from both teams competing for a lead

performance, as Serekunda West dominated passion in the two different halves of
the game on Sunday.
The opening game was attended
by sports enthusiasm from the Grater Banjul Area including members of the GFA
Normalization Committee.
In other opening game on
Sunday at the Brikama Mini Stadium futured another West Coast derby between the
host Brikama and Sukuta which ended 3-2 in favor of the home team. The host
Brikama came from behind twice to level the scores and only benefited from a
minutes penalty when visiting team defender Yahya Darboe brought down the host
striker Adama Sabally which was converted to a goal to give Brikama all the
three points.
