“We are going to fight very hard until the last day of the competition, its football anything can happen. I am not happy with our draw, however the performance was good. Finishing is our main problem, we contain big teams but we sleep up at the finishing area,” He said.

The rooted team Seaview secured 17 points out of 17 league games with one point behind Young Africans and Interior, who both have 18 points with goal differences.
Njie added that the team still need motivation because is a young team, he said working hard can make a progress for him and his young team.

In the other hand, Real de Banjul coach Baboucarr Coker said they can still defend their title with only five games to go. “We can win the title again, we have five more games to wrap up, and its football anything is possible.”

Meanwhile, in the other games of the weekend, the current league leaders Steve Biko FC has sleep up to open the margin to seven points on Saturday, following their goalless played against Young Africans at the KG5 artificial turf in Banjul.

Coach Abdoulie Bojang and his side are battling to win their first ever domestic league title. Despite the draw the leaders remain in the first place with 29 points out of 17 games with only three points ahead of the telecommunication giants Gamtel FC.

Gamtel FC and The Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) occupied the second and the third place on the table standings respectively. The GAF have better goal scoring than Gamtel, who are two goals behind the GAF. However, GAF also considered more goals than Gamtel, with three goals differences.
