The two-year absentees of the annual super nawettan tournament
(Zonal competition) organised by the GFA for all the recognized nawettan zones
in the greater Banjul area, Bakau, will return to the championship with a
difference this year, according to the president of Bakau Zonal Sports
Committee (BZSC), Bakary Dampha (Paco), in an interview with sport reporters on
Sunday at the community’s football park.
The BZSC president said Bakau will come to the Zonal competition
with a total difference compared to the previous years, even though the zone
has not completed its 2012 nawettan championships for both the league and the
knockout trophy.
