BREMEN BORDER FC DRAW GOALLESS WITH RON MANGO


In the week three fixtures of the ongoing Bakau 2012 Nawettan, the highly rejuvenated side in this year’s competition, Bremen Border FC draws goalless with one of the oldest Nawettan team in Bakau on Sunday morning at the Bakau mini stadium.

Sunday tie was one of the most difficult matches for Bremen Border in the group considering their strength and record in the community’s annual championship. In the recent years, Ron Mango FC were crowned champions of both the league and the knockout trophies as well as the Super Cups for two years in a row, they were only denied their third times last years by another newly promoted team in the Nawettan last years competition Zuwa FC who clinched the league trophy after beating Magadan FC in the final.

Bremen Border FC currently leading the group with five points after securing a two draws and a win in the last three matches, while their opponents Ron Mango FC are in the third position with three points after drawing all their three matches. Second in the group is Kachikally United with five points equal with Bremen Border FC, but behind by goals different.

The game was a thrilling and captivating encounter which was characterized by full of brilliant display of skills from two teams in the regulation time. As usual both side created numerous goal scoring chances in the game, but either side was able to capitalize on any single opportunity to make a different in the game.

In the second game on Sunday, Fajara Barrack FC snatched a late one nil win over last year’s debutant Kansala FC. Sunday activities was wrapped up with a two hull draw between Mamakoto FC and KGI FC one of the most famous team in the competition which generated more fund for the committee from gate proceedings.
